Equipment of the Core Shared Research Facility “SQUID-Magnetometer MPMS-XL5” (by Quantum Design, USA).

The instrument is designed for measuring magnetic properties (magnetization and magnetic susceptibility) of samples with very small magnetic moments, including weakly magnetic materials or samples containing only a small amount of magnetic substance.

The system enables measurements of the magnetic moment for virtually all types of materials, including single crystals, polycrystalline samples, thin films, powders, and others.
