The LphiA conducts research on fiber lasers, solitons, nonlinear optical measurements, doped glasses, supercooled media, and thin films for photovoltaic applications. Some of our experiments are highly fundamental, while others are more applied. The laboratory’s scientific themes extend to interfaces with chemistry, biology, and nanotechnology. Research at the laboratory is structured around two main axes and benefits from the support of the SFR Matrix.
